Spectacular Sea World San Diego

Located on the picturesque Mission Bay, Sea World San Diego is a 200-acre marine adventure park spilling over with spectacular attractions, chief among which is the Shamu show.

Incidentally, Shamu is not a single orca (a.k.a. killer whale) as is popularly believed (or led to believe), but the stage name of Sea World’s iconic orca show.  The sname is shared between several adult male and female performing orcas.  Otherwise, it’d be odd for “Shamu” to simultaneously be in San Diego and Orlando at the same time!  View the Shamu cam here.

And now for the other sights and sounds…

And thrills and spills.

Beautiful photos and a nice recap of the West Coast of America. I am glad that you had as good a time as I did there. One thing I told myself is that I will definitely return to the United States again, perhaps this time touring its national parks. And of course New York, Boston and Chicago will be in the horizon years in the future…

Hi Walter, yes, the U.S. has some awe-worthy attractions–both natural and artificial. Chicago is a fascinating, beautiful city. I lived there for about 6 months, and had a memorable time. Did you know it has the highest concentration of people of Polish origin outside of Poland?
